Weekly Winners, November 7-13: Thankful for my town!

A couple of days ago, I wrote about Nashville and people who care. On Friday morning, I hung out downtown for a few hours while my daughter participated in a choral event at TPAC. So I wandered around with my camera. I had a specific project in mind but I also grabbed a random photo here and there.

I love Nashville.

Jack's flying pigs

Random downtown building, love the architecture

The Hatch Show Print cats

Elvis never left Nashville

Our native orchid

I love how the lamppost is decorated for Christmas but Autumn is still reflected in the window.

  2. Re: Flying pigs

The Cawthons have those on their cemetery marker. It's next to my mom's, kind of amusing.

  4. I used to live in Middle TN, just down the road from Nashville. I miss the area, so much to see and tons of character (or characters). Love the downtown shots.
